We’re big fans of good literature around these parts, and today happens to be the annual celebration of the grand-daddy of them all, James Joyce’s Ulysses.

If you’re able, have a pint of Guinness in commemoration of Leopold Bloom, the titular character of today’s shindig, and celebrate the world’s love affair with this most remarkable book.

And, for something totally different, check out the Ulysses Meets Twitter project, which aims to re-construct the massive tome as a series of 96 “bursts” written by volunteers. You can follow along here.
