Summer Bookfairs

Summer time is right around the corner, and in the Midwest that means lots of outdoors – camping, yard work and most importantly, festivals! Midwestern Gothic will be attending a few of these events, and hosting readings at local bookstores throughout the summer.

We’ll keep you updated as more get nailed down – but the next few weeks hold two events that we’d love to see you at if you’re planning on being near Milwaukee or Chicago

June 1, 2013
Midwest Small Press Fest
A great little event put on by Milwaukee’s awesome art community, you can meet quite a few of your small press favorites here. We’ll have a table, and will also be putting on a reading!
The reading featuring Paul Scot August, Lee Krecklow and Joanna Thompson-Yezek will be at People’s Books Cooperative, 8 – 9 p.m. 804 E. Center Street

Printer’s Row Lit Fest
This is a huge Chicago event, and the perfect way to spend a lazy summer day browsing books and other literary goodies. We’ll be in the Small Press Tent all day, both days. Stop by to pick up an issue or two, say hi, or just check out some small presses.
