Midwestern Gothic at AWP 2014 – Seattle
We are so excited to be attending this year’s AWP Conference and Bookfair in Seattle!
We’ll be there Thursday – Saturday, February 27 – March 1, hawking Issues of Midwestern Gothic (at a reduced price), as well as MG Press’ newest publication, the novel Above All Men by Eric Shonkwiler (who will be present to sign copies of his book). Not only that, but we’ll have a table full of free swag to give away (some really cool postcards, stickers, etc.).
Last, Midwestern Gothic will be teaming up with Dock Street Press to host a reading at Seattle’s Peddler Brewing Company on Thursday, February 27 at 7:30 PM. This is your chance to step away from the mammoth halls of AWP and check out some talented readers in a more intimate setting—sure to be a good time. In addition to the Dock Street Press line-up, we’ll have three uber-talented Midwestern Gothic folks reading: our poetry editor Christina Olson, and contributors Justin Lawrence Daugherty and Joe Sacksteder.
