stop the presses! american gladiators reboot!

oh boy oh boy oh boy! now, i used to love american gladiators as an awkward preteen (and yes, even the nes video game). it just had everything, didn’t it? edge-of-your-seat action. sex appeal. the eliminator. god what a great show!

and in case you don’t recall, here’s a short intro:

now that you are (presumably) as pumped as i am comes the really good news: after a lengthy hiatus, nbc is bringing the show back for a mid-season pickup. you know what this means? new battles! updated weapons! oh god i can’t control myself!
