White-Collar Blues. n. White-collar employees’ state-of-mind, when forced to partake in blue-collar activities, usually for the good of the company. Typically leads to emotional and physical deterioration.
Nick: I worked 36 hours is 3 days doing the yearly physical inventory. My mind is numb, and my back and feet are in pain.
Jeff: Sounds like the white-collar blues.
Nick: Seriously.
